Vacuum pickup Moving oil around is tough. This is a vacuum system that works well. The oil is sucked out of storage tanks and the pushed into the vertical settling tanks using just a few psi. Works very well with used motor oil. Caution must be exercised to not draw too much vacuum or risk boiling any water that may be in with the oil, possibly emulsifying the oil. This setup pumps a lot of oil every year.
